India (Andhra Pradesh region). Indian turmeric is a worldwide reference for its high curcumin content and intense yellow colour.
How to use
Add it at the beginning of cooking in oil or ghee to better develop aroma and color. Always combine it with a pinch of black pepper to boost its absorption. In golden milk or smoothies, mix directly with the hot drink and adjust the amount to taste (1⁄2 teaspoon is a good starting point).
Storage
Store in an airtight container, away from direct light and moisture. Manipulate carefully: dye surfaces and fabrics easily. Preferably consume within 24 months of opening.
