€11.75 · 100 g
Ingredients
Lavender, thyme, rosemary, marjoram and savory.
Origin
South of France. Mixture with origin in the Provencal kitchen.
How to use
In marinades: mix 1-2 teaspoons with olive oil, garlic and salt — apply on lamb, chicken or pork and let marinate at least 30 minutes (or all night in a refrigerator for large cuts). Baked: sprinkle directly on vegetables or meats before baking at 180-200°C. Focaccia: Add 1 teaspoon to the dough or sprinkle on the surface before baking. Lavender intensifies with prolonged heat — if the dish has long cooking, use less at first and add a little more at the end. Start with half a teaspoon per serving if you're not used to the lavender's floral profile.
Storage
Store in airtight jar, in a cool, dry place and away from light. The lavender of the mixture is especially sensitive to heat and moisture — in bad conditions, the floral aroma degrades before the rest of the herbs. Consuming in the first 12-18 months.
